Dear Tarrant County Friends and Partners,
2009 is coming to a close and we have much to celebrate in terms of accomplishments for the year! It has been an amazing twelve months and we can look back in awe at the unique successes, collaborations, and endeavors that have come to fruition as a result of the hard work put forth by so many!
I greet you with the culmination of our “Unlocking the Doors of Opportunity” educational series in print with the next article entitled “The Career Seeker Toolbox” which provides an overview of the topics touched upon throughout the 2009 year. In the November/December issue of Perspectives, you will also find an article highlighting the work of the newly formed Urban Development Program Area Committee and educational focus areas for 2010. There is much to be excited about! As always, you will be greeted with inspirational quotes and information on programming efforts I am currently offering and preparing to implement. You will also be introduced to next year’s educational series focus. Finally, enjoy the holiday article shared with intentions of fostering a spirit of community among you as we prepare to celebrate this time of year with our friends and families.
